New proposal for the aperture of gaming licensing proceedings in Spain
Our IT and Gaming department analyzes the latest updates in the Spanish gaming sector, promoted by the Spanish Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (“DGOJ”) in the last months:
The DGOJ has published a proposal for the opening of the proceedings for the granting of general licenses concerning the organization, marketing and operation of gambling activities.
On 6 July 2017 the Gaming Supervising Authorities of France, Portugal, Spain and Italy signed an online poker liquidity Agreement.
On 11 July 2017 the DGOJ published a new issue of its Annual Report, which aims to analyze and transmit the evolution of this sector to the general public, together with a brief summary of the industry agents’ main concerns.
