Experience
Javier is Partner of the Commercial Contracts Practice of the Madrid office. He joined the firm in 2021 after working at national and international law firms and the legal services departments of large companies.
He specialises in contracts, M&A and corporate law, focusing on the areas of energy, tourism, venture capital and infrastructure, among others.
Prior to joining the firm, as a member of the legal services department of the Globalia Group he has participated in high-profile M&A transactions in the tourism sector, as well as in the renegotiation of numerous contractual relationships of the Group and in various applications for temporary government support during the COVID-19 crisis.
Javier also provides ongoing advice to customers of the renewable energies sector, both in their day-to-day operations (relations with Red Eléctrica Española, single node interlocutors, authorities, developers and land owners, etc.) and in transactions for the purchase of projects in different stages of development and in operation.
Education
- Degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.
- Specialist course in Corporate Law given by the Madrid Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid).
