Miguel García Stuyck has been Partner of the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice since 2019. Miguel has a broad and international professional profile, specialising in M&A and corporate advice in general. He has extensive experience in complex investment, divestment and joint venture transactions, both national and international. He also has a strong background in transactions with listed securities and in the infrastructure sector.

In addition to being a practising Spanish lawyer, Miguel is also a qualified solicitor. He began his career in London, participating when returning to Madrid in the majority of the privatisations that have taken place in Spain, as a member of the legal team of the SEPPA and the SEPI, the state-owned enterprises responsible for managing such privatisations. He later built on his experience spending over 20 years at the international law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Hogan Lovells.

  • Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (admitted as solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in January 1996), College of Law, London.
