Member of the corporate department since 2018, José has a career of more than 20 years as a corporate lawyer in both law firms and listed companies. He specializes in corporate law, corporate governance, M&A, capital markets and finance.

He has an outstanding experience in corporate law in general, and in structural modifications in particular, including cross-border processes. Likewise, he advises listed companies in corporate governance, transparency requirements, market abuse, accepted market practices and shareholders agreements.

José has sound experience in public and private M&A (compulsory, voluntary and de-listing takeover, squeeze-out and competitive sales processes).

Especially outstanding is his career in the field of capital markets, having led throughout his professional career several debt, equity and equity-linked offerings. In DCM, filing of debt programmes (GMTN, EMTN, ECP including STEP), stand-alone debt issues, hybrid securities and private placements. In ECM and equity-linked, IPOs, secondary offerings, accelerated bookbuilt offerings, block trades and other special trades, rights offerings, convertible and/or exchangeable bond offerings, all the above listed on regulated markets or MTFs, or non-listed.

Within the framework of financial law, his experience in debt restructuring agreements, project financing, structured, acquisition and syndicated loan agreements stands out.
