Alfredo has over fifteen years of experience providing legal advice on all types of matters related to Competition Law and foreign direct investment control (FDI) to national and international companies, business associations, and public bodies. His professional career has been recognized by the Legal 500 directory in the “Next Generation Partner” category.

He has developed his career at top-tier international law firms such as A&O Shearman, Hogan Lovells, and KPMG Abogados, where he served as head of the Competition Law practice and served as co-head of its international EMA practice group before joining Ramón y Cajal Abogados.

Education

  • LLM in Competition Law from King’s College London (2009–2010).
  • MA in European Studies from the College of Europe (2008–2009).
  • Degree in Law and Political Science from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (2002–2006).

Teaching

Alfredo has taught Competition Law in the graduate programs of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He has written several articles for specialized publications in the field of competition law.
