Alba is a Senior Associate in the Competition Law Department. She has experience practicing competition law and European Union law, in proceedings related to competition law before administrative authorities including contentious-administrative review proceedings. Alba is also experienced litigating before the courts of the European Union, based in Luxembourg, defending clients' interests in a wide range of matters, such as state aid, common agricultural policy and bank resolution.
She currently advises clients in follow-on and stand-alone actions arising from cartels, abuse of dominant position and other anti-competitive conduct, as well as in unfair competition matters.
Before joining Ramón y Cajal Abogados, Alba worked as a legal clerk (stagiaire) at the General Court of the European Union and in the competition law departments within Spanish and international law firms. She has also been an Instructor and Inspector at the Catalan Competition Authority (ACCO).
