Beatriz is highly experienced in M&A and venture capital/private equity mattershaving worked for more than 4 years as in-house counsel at Alantra Investment Bank (formerly N+1), as well as advising on general commercial law matters. She has been involved in transactions relating to a wide range of economic sectors, including the financial, hotel, industrial and real estate sectors.
Her professional practice has had extensive international exposure. In addition to her legal training in the US, she worked for 1 year at Mayer Brown (Chicago), in the Project Finance area, advising financial institutions in the financing of infrastructure and real estate projects in Latin America, as well as the US government in the design and execution of a restitution plan for the victims of a financial fraud (Ponzi scheme) related to real estate investments in Mexico. In addition, most of the transactions on which she advises have a transnational dimension.
