Beatriz joined Ramón y Cajal Abogados in 2009 and works as Of Counsel in the Corporate and Commercial Department.

Beatriz is highly experienced in M&A and venture capital/private equity matters. Prior to joining the Firm she worked for more than four years as legal counsel for the investment banking firm Alantra (formerly known as N+1) in additional to practising general corporate law. She has participated matters spanning a wide range of economic fields, with special focus on the financial, hotel, industrial and real estate sectors.

Her education and professional background make her a truly international lawyer: in addition to her legal studies in the United States, Beatriz worked for one year at Mayer Brown's corporate headquarters in Chicago, in Project Finance. She concentrated on advising banks on financing infrastructure and real estate projects in Latin America; she also provided the US government with advice on designing and executing a restitution plan for the victims of financial fraudrelated to real estate investments in Mexico (the Ponzi scheme). The majority of matters in which she participates are of a cross-border nature.
