Partner of the Civil Litigation Department, with more than ten years’ experience, she joined the firm in 2012.

Carmen specialises in insolvency law and civil litigation, providing advice on pre-insolvency scenarios (refinancing agreements, debt restructuring and judicial approvals) as well as on the filing of voluntary and legal insolvency proceedings, oppositions thereto, advice at all stages of insolvency, representing both the debtor and the creditors, including the qualification piece.

On the other hand, she is also specialised in the defence of financial contracts, including swaps, preference shares, structured products, bonds, warrants, etc.

She also has considerable experience in the preparation of proceedings before various arbitration courts, including the International Chamber of Commerce and the Madrid Court of Arbitration in all procedural stages.
