Jaime has been with Ramón y Cajal Abogados since 1990 and a partner in the Litigation and Insolvency Department since 1998.
In all of these years as a specialist in economic-criminal procedure and tax law, Jaime has defended and led legal teams for clients in criminal and civil proceedings before all sections of Spanish courts, including the Spanish Supreme Court, the National Court and the Constitutional Court. He also acts as secretary and vice-secretary on the boards of directors for listed investment services firms which are supervised by the Bank of Spain.

Formerly Jaime taught as an Associate Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
