Experience

She has gained her professional expertise at University of Castilla-La Mancha, holding several offices such as Manager of the Employment Information and Promotion Centre, Vice-chancellor for Student Affairs or General Secretary. She served as Director General of Registries and Notaries at the Spanish Ministry of Justice for three years, bringing in a great number of bills on private law.

As for her private practice it is worth mentioning her reports and legal opinions for several law firms, general legal advice and her membership of diverse Advisory Boards.

 

Education

  • Law PhD at University of Castilla-La Mancha and (official) Professor at such University.
  • She made research work at the German Universities of Freiburg, Hamburg and Berlin, as well as at the Max Planck Institut für Privatrecht in Hamburg.
  • She took part in both national and international research projects on different issues.

 

Teaching

She has lectured the full programme of Business Law at Law Degree studies and Business Administration Degree studies. She has also lectured at postgraduate courses as well as PhD coursework on subjects such as; inter alia, Corporate Law, Banking and Financial Markets Law, the amendment on public limited liability companies, takeover bid and IPO regulation.

She has taken part as from the beginning in Master in International Business, Master in Credit Institutions and MBA on business management. She has also taken part in many national and international conferences. 

Publications

She authored four monographs:

  • •Remedies against the resolutions of the Board of Directors (1998)
  • The IOU as a loan agreement security (1999)
  • The challenging rights of shareholders of public limited liability companies (2006)
  • The mortgagor protection (2013).

She directed the collective book “The incorporation, strategic management and governance of SMEs” (2010).

She published more than seventy articles on collective books and specialized magazines on several Business Law issues (Consumer law, corporate law, shareholder rights and corporate governance, distribution agreement, banking contract, competition law, stock markets or insolvency law).
