After 9 years of litigation, the Spanish Supreme Court upholds the compensation awarded to 11 entities, advised by Ramón y Cajal Abogados, affected by the "envelope cartel"

Ramón y Cajal Abogados has successfully led the damages claims of 11 major entities against the Spanish "envelope cartel". In July 2022, the Spanish Supreme Court handed down the first orders refusing the admission of the cassation appeals filed by one of the defendants against the judgments rendered by the Barcelona Appeal Court. Said inadmissibility orders put an end, favourably for the claimants represented by Ramón y Cajal, to the actions filed in 2014 with the Barcelona and the Madrid courts. Such claims have become a landmark case in Spain.
