Ramón y Cajal Abogados advises The Hispanic Society of America on a landmark art loan agreement with the Generalitat Valenciana

Ramón y Cajal Abogados has provided legal counsel to The Hispanic Society of America in what represents the institution’s largest art loan operation to Spain to date.

The long-term and renewable agreement will enable the exhibition in Valencia of over 220 works by Joaquín Sorolla, on loan from The Hispanic Society’s headquarters in New York. The Generalitat Valenciana has prepared a dedicated venue for this extraordinary collection, as part of a four-year cultural cooperation framework agreement.

This initiative strengthens the cultural ties between Spain and the United States and underscores the crucial role of both public and private institutions in the promotion and preservation of artistic heritage.

Ramón y Cajal Abogados is proud to have advised on this landmark project and grateful for the trust placed in our team by The Hispanic Society.
