Pablo González de Zárate publish an article in the "Journal of European Competition Law & Practice"

Our associate Pablo González de Zárate has just published an article titled “Endorsement of the ‘Crossed’ Test for Alleged Margin Squeeze as an Abuse of Collective Dominance (Spain)” in the prestigious Journal of European Competition Law & Practice. The article touches upon the Spanish Supreme Court ruling in the case Llamadas Móviles, in which our antitrust department sucessfully represented Telefónica. This ruling endorses the use of a sophisticated approach (the ‘Crossed’ test) to review margin squeeze practices in a context of a collective dominant position, and consolidates the assessment of effects in abuse of dominant position cases.
