Our Department boasts a team of professionals specialised in urban development and the attendant environmental implications. Their experience has allowed them to provide advice to Spanish and international developers of shopping centres, homes, office buildings, hotels, land owners’ consortiums and similar, and urban development agents, among others.

Our Urban Development Department has been involved in the most significant urban development projects carried out in Spain.

Our advice ranges from the drafting of urban development due diligence, all the way up to comprehensive advice necessary for the establishment, construction and start-up of a project, including its contractual aspects.

  • Preparation and processing of urban development zoning regulations: master plans, division plans, partial plans, detailed studies, special infrastructure plans and interior reform.
  • Preparation and processing of urban development management tools: Re-division projects, cooperation and expropriation.
  • Drafting, negotiation and formalisation of urban development agreements.
  • Creation and advisory of compensation committees, urban development agents, conservation entities and other related entities.
  • Preparation of urban development reports and legal opinions.
  • Drafting of urban development due diligence reports prior to financing or acquisition of all types of real estate assets or in sale and leaseback transactions.
